(Swaad) 38 : 6

And the chief of them come forward saying: You go ahead and you be patient regarding your deities, indeed this is a thing done intentionally.

When Messenger called the people to the Single Deity, the chief of disbelievers told their weakling followers: “You stand firmly regarding your and your forefathers’ deities, he intends to mislead you from your forefathers’ way of life”. When the believer reminds them to hold the Lord by holding Adhikr, the hypocritical disbelievers among the Arabic Quran reading Fujjar say to their disbelieving followers: “You shouldn’t hear Adhikr, it is a false argument, by hearing It you may stray from your forefathers’ way of life”. Thus they are entrapping their followers also into Hell. The scene of arguing, cursing, and blaming these hypocritical leaders and their blind followers from Hell is explained in verses 2: 165-167. See explanation 2: 18, 170; 9: 67-68; 25: 17-18, and 30.
